Prenatal yoga is proven to:

You can start whenever you feel ready. Class is perfect for any trimester. Like anything, you’ll receive more benefit the earlier you start so you can introduce healthy breathing techniques and start finding movement in your body. I’m trained in special ways you’ll need to modify your practice–even the first trimester–during pregnancy. That being said, if you just found me at the end of the third trimester, there’s a lot you can still gain from coming to class!

Absolutely not. If you’ve never explored yoga, during pregnancy is a great time to start. The class is gentle and many modifications are offered. Even in my non-pregnancy classes, I specialize in helping make yoga accessible to every body. What I tell everyone is “if you have a body and you can breathe, you can do yoga.”

Kirsten Wild is a lifelong yogi and a 500-hour registered yoga teacher certified in prenatal and postnatal yoga. She has always had a passion for making yoga accessible for every body and has a newfound love for prenatal yoga after it helped her stay active during her own pregnancy and remain virtually pain-free during the entire third trimester. Beyond the physical benefits of yoga, she believes in its healing power for the mind, heart, and spirit. Kirsten is committed to offering a prenatal class based on current evidence for safety while providing a supportive space to learn, move your body, and connect with your own unique pregnancy experience. Wear something that is comfortable to move around in. You are welcome to wear yoga pants and a sports bra, or sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt are totally welcome. Please bring your yoga mat and a set of yoga blocks. There are many affordable options at Walmart or Target, or you can choose to purchase a set from me. Contact me for pricing and info.
